"We Capture Who You Are, Not Just What You Look Like!"
The only way to create change is to change the way you create.

& Archivist
I am Kam.
I've been a professional photographer for more than a decade and now I'm home, in Mississippi, where my love for photography was discovered.
Quick story, in 6th grade I was sent to the principal's office, most likely for talking in class. One of the teachers there gave me a Minolta film camera and told me to take photos for the "The Wolverine," our newspaper at Northwest Middle School. The day that I picked up the camera and looked through the lens to take a photo for the first edition of that school paper was the day that I learned to see.
From that moment on, my way of seeing what was happening in the world transformed. Now, I use my work to provoke that emotion, shifts and healing in others, this is the part I call "Visual Healing."
I've photographed everything from family portraits to newborns to New York Fashion Week...and through it all one thing remains constant. No matter what or who I photograph, my desire is to capture a story, a moment in the archive of our collective lives. I thank God for blessing me with the gift of sight. Thank you for reading my story. It would be my honor to See You Through my Lens. Remember, The Kam-Era Loves YOU!
